I thought I would compile a article where I showcased Johnny Depp and his different Hairstyles over the years.
There were so many iconic great pictures I found that didn’t make it in to this article but hopefully the list of 26 images will go along way to showcase what a great and varied actor he has been over the years.
Johnny has been in some very classic movies and also done a few movies that lets just say will forget about but the main movies that come to mind have been Platoon (1986), Edward Scissorhands (1990), Sleepy Hollow (1999), The Pirates of the Caribbean movies, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory (2005) and Alice in Wonderland (2010). He has often been in movies where Tim Burton the Director has cast him and collaborated with him. So, let get started!
Johnny Depp has always had a distinctive look which centers around a medium length haircut, a middle parting and glasses. This image from 2003 shows that way back then he was beginning to perfect that look.
This next pic is a great example of the contrast between the first picture and this one with the colour of his hair.
He has short sides with a extra long fringe. The strands curl out woulds at the ends and its a very stylistic look.
A similar haircut here as well, I like how he is hiding behind the fringe.
This hairstyle was something I wanted to show more of in this article because I like the simplicity, it’s not something you see men go for and so I like the originality of it.
A little more adventurous here and the hair has become more edgy.
This picture below captures johnny in a more relaxed casual look.
I think as Johnny got older perhaps his excessive lifestyle came in to play more and you can that the condition of his hair doesn’t look the best. I also think he was going through a more rock/grunge period in his life which he seems to have continued with that to present day..
This next picture was a change to the norm for him and was an unusual style to go for but one that sort of suits him in particular.
This hairdo has lost it’s shape a tad.
Whats interesting with Johnny is that the last 3 images were all taken in 2016, literally over a 3 month period. You can see such a diversity in style and he is certainly someone who likes to mix it up. The last image is testament to that. Its bold, choppy and looks like an undercut with a twist.
