The British Academy Television Awards for 2016 took place on the 8th of May at the Royal Festival Hall, Southbank in London. This award show is like the Emmy Awards which is held in the U.S each year.
You find that the whose who or acting royalty turn up for this event each year from our T.V screens. Nowadays more and more A-list actors are finding the time to take on T.V roles which is great for fans to be able to see their idolized film actors in television drama’s.
This year the red carpet was packed with some American actors like Justin Tinberlake and Josh Hartnett which was rather interesting to see.
The award for Leading Actor went to Mark Rylance for his role in the drama series Wolf Hall, a very typical British period drama about Thomas Cromwell’s rise in the court of Henry VIII.
I haven’t watched it myself but across the pond in the U.S it did get nominated for 8 Emmy’s and 3 Golden Globes so just based on that it seems worth watching if you have the time to do so!
Idris Elba
Idris has a very short haircut which is tapered on the sides and fades around his ears and around the back of the neckline.
Tom Hiddleston
Is he going to be the next James Bond, there are rumors circling, he would be a good fit I think. Tom has an unusual haircut, it’s tidy, neat and slightly curly. The haircut is nicely blended from the sides right up to the top. His hairline is slightly reseeding and he does have fine hair but it really isn’t a problem and with the added quiff for styling the hairstyle really works.
Stephen Graham
What’s there to say, Stephen has a very short haircut, the beard goes well with the short hair. Expect to see him in the next Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
Martin Freeman
The comb-over, a classic, smart look which Martin pulls off here. I think Martin has now gone full out with his grayness. A few months back he was on the Graham Norton Show and it looked like he had dyed all his hair gray. That’s fine and is a good way of keeping your hair a continuous color.
Iwan Rheon
Game of Throne star Iwan has very curly hair which has volume and is textured all over.
Josh Hartnett
A nice side parted layered haircut which is very traditional. A little bit of styling to the front keeping the top slightly longer than the sides.
Justin Timberlake
A short formal haircut, the sides are particularly short, the top has been thinned using thinning scissors and the front has be pushed back to form a neat sweep.
