Haircuts for Round Faces – Mens Hairstyles.
Do you also find that certain haircuts just don’t work, because I have from time to time. The conclusion I’ve come to is it takes a really good hairdresser to cut a haircut which is shaped to the confines of the face and head. We all have unique looking features and this is defined by having long, wide, round or angular faces. The key is to highlight these features and turn them into a positive by styling the hair to enhance facial lines and shapes and minimize other areas which may stand out.
You will know if you have a round face because the height and width of the face are almost the same in length, other features include full cheekbones and a rounded jaw. The reason as to why people have round faces it not due to being over weight but genetics at birth and when one has a round face they tend to not have any significant features or angular lines. By having a round face there are many different hairstyles one can use, to counter balance the width of the face adding height to the face is a very effective tool.

Below are a number of hairstyles for men with round faces, the hairstyles differ dramatically, this shows that with a round face a number of different hairstyles can be worn. In the first photo the hairstyle has been cut short on the sides using scissors and 1 to 2 inches in length has been left on the top so the hair can be brushed to one side. This provides shape, angles and height to the face.
This next chap is sporting a very short haircut with a fringe which is short and straight across the forehead. I think there is nothing wrong with embracing the round face and keeping it short, its easy to maintain.
The guy in the third photo is with out doubt displaying the roundest photo in this article. He has very thick, dark black hair which has been cut at angles allowing the hair to sweep across the forehead. He will have a deep side parting which is well off from the center line and this haircut is easy to maintain.
This final photo depicts this chap sporting hair which is thin and spiky. This hairstyle adds some much needed height to his round face and provides shape and lines which look stylish and aesthetically pleasing on the eye. This hairstyle is very popular, easy to maintain and style.
Conclusion: If you have a round face then two areas which can greatly enhance your features would be to keep your hair short on the sides and add some length to the top allowing you to style your hair like the last chap in this article.
