Japanese men hairstyles is a popular search term and I felt that I haven’t done enough Asian articles on this site so I plan to focus more on this. I am in the process of transitioning away from Pinterest images and starting to use more quality high res images, either stock photos or celebrity images whether they are the latest ones or ones from the past. I think it is important to create an excellent site full of great images for you all to enjoy. So I am investing more in this!
In this article I have selected a few images of Japanese Actors who have graced the screen over the last few years. I have always been a fan of Japanese culture and I particular enjoy watching Japanese TV programs. In fact I have been binging on a few shows of late, such as I’m Home and Crazy for Me which came out in the last year or so.
What I love about Japanese TV programs is the boldness of them, the characters and the story line, you would never see a U.K or U.S program about a lost homeless guy who gets picked up by a friendly store owner, who then gives him a job and allows him to live in a converted ship container below his own penthouse converted ship container. Then to top that off your ex wife starts going out with your boss, it makes you laugh I tell ya, it really does.
Back to the images, in this first picture below of Ken Ochiai who is an Actor but also very well know for being a film producer, here he has a very popular hairstyle for a Japanese man. The hair is sculpted and free flowing and neatly cut short on the sides.
Munetaka Aoki has a medium length haircut which is covering the ears.
Can you believe this guy, Takato Yonemoto was a completely unknown, not even an actor but that all changed when he was talent spotted becasue of his looks and was thrust in to the movie 47 Ronin. His hair has been tied into a man bun / top knot which is very popular hairstyle you often see in Japan.
A short tidy hairstyle for Tsukasa Kishimoto.
Miyavi also known as Takamasa Ishihara is a singer, song writer and actor. He is sporting a nice slick back undercut hairstyle in this pic below.
Ken Watanabe is one of the most famous Japanese actors out there today. You may have seen him in movies such as The Last Samurai, Memoirs of a Geisha, Letters from Iwo Jima, Inception, Godzilla and Transformer: Age of Extinction. The list just goes on and on.
Masami Kosaka has his hair tied back. That’s one thing that is very noticeable in Japan that men are not afraid to grow there hair long. Another very popular actor who has been in the Twilight movies.
Yuki Matsuzaki has very free flowing, curly hair in this pic.
Hiroshi Wantanabe has an interesting haircut which is graded on the sides and medium length on top.
This article was a great reference point which shows the varied hairstyles Japanese men can confidently rock nowadays, especially when using the right type of shampoo because we all know that that could be an issue with dark black hair!
