Tousled hair essentially means that the hair is disheveled or messy. A good tousled hairstyle can also be curly and so I thought this article would be great to showcase some awesome hairstyles.
To rock the tousled hairstyle you will need a lot of texture and at least medium length hair to be able to style it. It also helps if your hair is naturally curly and its more noticeable if the hair is longer.
This first picture is a nice introductory to the article as its one of the more tidy haircuts in this collection. There is more balance and versatility in the cut, its short on the sides and easy to maintain. A cream based styling aid which drys in the hair is recommended.
A good example of what can be achieved with long hair. Great curls, wavy and messy, not a lot is needed here to create this masterpiece.
Loving the curls on this haircut, very natural with a touch of styling mouse used for that volume. Use you fingers to scrunch the hair as the hair drys.
Wow, a lot of curly strands of hair on this chap. A messy haircut with the added quiff thrown in for good measure.
This pic below most definitely conjures up the essence of this article. A messy, almost dirty looking hairstyle which is knotted, long on top and short around the ears. This is a must try, would love to see some pics from you guys sporting this hairstyle.
This image is another great example of a medium to length curly tousled hairstyle. This one is a lot easier to maintain and looks smart!
Nothing like finishing off with a messy curly tousled, classic, looks like he just got out of bed.
Damn I wish I had natural curls, it would make hair styling a lot more interesting.
All the best, Alex.
